Bobbie was asked to fill a supervisor position on our board 10 years ago. She felt that she had experience and knowledge to offer the community. In her 25 years as horticulture extension educator and her childhood growing up in the country, she’s had a life long connection with the land and animals on and in it. She deeply treasures nature and has a deep understanding of how the natural world works. It is difficult to make people understand and appreciate the work that we do, but her favorite thing about the CCD is the chance to make a difference for the better.
